Unboxing Scandinavian sustainability & simplicity

Stuga, a Scandinavian hardwood flooring company, came to The Graphic Standard to design an unboxing experience for their flooring samples that celebrated the company’s Scandinavian ethos of sustainability & simplicity.

The Project

Knowing that the sample unboxing experience is likely a Stuga customer’s first experience with the brand outside of visiting the website, I designed a set of packaging and inserts that feel honest, friendly, and educational—immersing the customer in the Scandinavian ethos of sustainability, and educating them in Stuga’s roots, the construction of their floors, and the perks of working with them.

The end result was a set of high-quality brand cards, product cards, and floor sample stickers, all housed within a sustainably-made cardboard box featuring friendly Swedish greetings and branded exterior tape.
